About the project

This project is a private initiative of the "Youth Economic Society" Public Fund and is supported by the Soros Foundation Kyrgyzstan and «Promotank HQA» consulting company.

"Youth Economic Society" Public Foundation is a group of specialists in the field of economics and business, and students of economics of the leading universities in Kyrgyzstan.

The project is intended to establish a permanent information infrastructure to inform the civil society, and especially the expert community about the budget decisions: the draft budget, initiatives for budget changes, sources of income and expenditure items of the state budget of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The aim of the project is in ensuring transparency of the budgetary process of the country by providing timely, accessible and quality information about the budget process, the increasing interest and civic activism in the formation of the state budget of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Project’s auditorium is civil society, i.e. non-governmental organizations, business associations, experts, media, international donors and other interested parties, and also, a wider audience of citizens-taxpayers.
