Osmonbek Artykbaev: budget deficit of energy system amounts 1.52 million soms

“In Kyrgyzstan budget deficit of energy system amounts 1.52 million soms for 2010”, Osmonbek Artykbaev, acting minister of energetic, stated today at meeting with donors.

He noted that in 2010 payments for energy have decreased though distributing companies gathered 2.3 billion soms from January to April that is higher by 36 percentage points comparing with 2009. “This increase became possible only because of raising tariffs in first quarter of 2010”, acting minister of energetic said.

“Payments for commercial output decreased as well. Thus, from January to April 2010 we have gathered only 76 per cents of planned amount. This is lower by 13 percentage points comparing with the same period of 2009”, Osmonbek Artykbaev noted.

Moreover, state-financed organizations have debts for 516.3 million soms by April 1, 2010.
