Batyrkul Baetov: Russian credit funds should be directed for financing coal sector projects

“Funds of the Russian credit should be directed for financing of projects in coal sector”, said State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy Batyrkul Baetov at the V session of the mining and metallurgical trade union of Kyrgyzstan today, on 3 June 2010.

According to him, earlier there were received 10 business projects on development of coal sector for the amount of $18.8 million. Funds of the Russian credit should be directed to their implementation.

“At present wear and tear of coal sector is 95 percent, about 70 percent of equipment is subject to write-off”, said Batyrkul Baetov.

At the same time, accounts receivable from budget organizations, Bishkek thermal power plant and Zhilkomunsoyuz state enterprise for the coal delivered earlier amount to 30 million soms.
